117 Elderly Residents in Untung Jawa Island Receive First Dose Vaccine

As many as 117 elderly people in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district received their first shot of COVID-19 vaccine.

There are 9 elderly people who haven't received vaccine because of sick and are currently not in Untung Jawa Island

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Health Center (Puskesmas) Head, Dede Hary Irawan mentioned this vaccination was carried out at Sasana Krida Karang Taruna (SKKT) Building, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village.

"We consider various things before decided to use SKKT building to hold vaccination for elderly. One of them is to prevent crowds in puskesmas," he stated, Wednesday (3/24).

According to him, 128 elderly people had registered to receive COVID-19 vaccine in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village.

"There are 9 elderly people who haven't received vaccine because of sick and are currently not in Untung Jawa Island," he informed.

Meanwhile, Untung Jawa Urban Village Head, Supriyadi was grateful that first dose COVID-19 vaccination for elderly in the location went well.

"We remind residents who have been vaccinated to remain implementing health protocols until COVID-19 pandemic is over," he asserted.
